A Temporary Offering

Project Details

A.T.O., A Temporary Offering, was an innovative project to activate the ground-floor retail of the historic Renoir Hotel on SF’s Market Street.

Built in 1909, the 130-room the Renoir Hotel is seven stories of brick, ornate columns, and gilded elevator doors that was, for almost two years, mostly-vacant filled with boarded-up storefronts.

A.T.O., A Temporary Offering, transformed its three storefronts, filled with craft coffee and clothing, the city’s best mixologists, and an innovative dining concept.

Shannon created Roast Co. in this space, a coffee bar that took up more than a third of the small space, helping to activate this underutilized retail space in San Francisco’s bustling mid-Market neighborhood.
