Queer Nightlife Fund
At the start of the pandemic in March 2020, Amitin connected with others who recognized the need to support Nightlife workers who were abruptly out of work with the closing of bars and venues. The group conducted virtual fundraising parties and raised over $400k that was disbursed through 511 separate grants.

SF Pride Movie Night at Oracle Park
In a quick pivot due to Covid restrictions, SF Pride created a movie night. Amitin produced the pre-show, placing an emphasis on booking local diverse talent across 2 days of entertainment programming.

Fluid Cooperative Coffee and Events
Using his years of experience as a cafe owner and worker, Amitin collaborated with 3 trans youth of color to open the first all trans owned and operated coffee and event space in La Cocina Marketplace in San Francisco

First Chinatown Pride
In their capacity as staff at SF Pride, Amitin Co-produced the first-ever Chinatown pride in 2020 with the Chinese Culture Center of SF

The Strand
Amitin worked as a consultant to activate the lobby of the newly revamped Strand Theater by launching a cafe program in the lobby, inviting patrons in during the day even when there were no performances

Jolene's
After watching countless queer bars close in SF over the past few years, Amitin decided to take back the space of a former straight bar and transform it into something between a nightclub and drag brunch venue. It is the first and only queer woman and trans-owned business in the City.

“farm:table is a small beautiful thing”, Amitin turned 250 sq ft of space into a cult followed community hub, where everyone shares a single table.
